Who We Are
What We Believe
We are a nondenominational rural church family who love Jesus and want to serve Him well. We focus on biblical truth, worship, prayer, service, and deep fellowship. Our primary purpose is to reach people with the Chrisian gospel message and to disciple believers by and through as many methods and means as possible, with the primary objective to connect people in relationship to one another and to God through Jesus Christ. We welcome everyone to come just as they are and be a part of our family.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our trustworthy authority for faith and life.
We believe in one true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of the virgin Mary, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave, and now sits at the right hand of God, interceding for us. Through His death and resurrection, all who repent and believe in Him can be forgiven and made right with God.
We believe the Holy Spirit is actively at work in the world and in the Church. He convicts people of sin and their need for a Savior, gives new life to those who repent and believe, sanctifies and empowers believers, guides us into truth, and gives spiritual gifts for ministry.

Meet Pastor Laura Wells
With over 20 years of ministry experience, Pastor Laura Wells has been serving Bowling Green Community Church since June of 2023. She is passionate about teaching God's Word and helping people live out their faith. Laura and her husband Brian have been married since 1982. She is a mother of 3 grown children and a "Nana" to 7 grandchildren. She holds a master's degree from Northwest Nazarene College in Pastoral Ministry.
